History CW Racing Team
CW Racing was well regarded for its care in selecting and developing high quality team skills. Most factory riders were in their prime competitive years whilst with CW Racing. It assembled a team with diverse proficiencies that were carefully combined to make a winning team, and provided team members with an optimal environment to achieve their full potential. CW Racing was recognised over the years for its accomplishments in this area.

“Hollywood” Mike Miranda
“Hollywood” Mike Miranda joined CW Racing in 1981, already a dominant force in the BMX industry. He helped bring CW Racing into the spotlight with his on-track proficiencies and off-track personality.
When he turned professional in 1982, he had an incredible number of wins behind him. In Senior Pro class, he beat established veterans on a regular basis and was the only B Pro class racer ever to win a Pro Trophy class race at an NBL National. In 1983 alone he achieved 15 Pro class wins.
After a brilliant on-track record he continued in BMX, taking the position of the CW Racing freestyle team manager in 1987.
He is recognised as one of the greatest BMX riders in history, with a distinguished and successful career.
Mike Miranda has won a range of awards for his performance in BMX, including the 1986 Bicycle Motocross Action Magazine’s Number One Racer Award (NORA) Cup and ranking in the BMX Action Magazine NORA Cup Top Ten Riders list in 1984 and 1985.
He was inducted into the ABA BMX Hall of Fame in 1992.

Eric Carter
Eric Cater was a four time BMX World Champion and raced with CW Racing in the late 80s. During his time with CW Racing he was recognised by BMX Action Magazine as one of the top racers at the time, with expertise in Cruiser class. In 1986, he was named the ABA’s National #1 Amateur.

Tracer Finn
Tracer Finn rode with CW Racing throughout his career and turned professional in 1983. He was best known for his unique style and jumping abilities on track. He held multiple Nevada state titles and was the first prominent racer to gain exposure for the BMX industry in Las Vegas.

Debbi Kalsow
Named “CW’s #1 Girl” by the ABA’s official membership publication, Debbi Kalsow was with CW Racing between 1981-1985. She was offered a sponsorship by CW Racing in 1981, after the end of the ABA Fall Nationals in Devonshire, California. She lobbied for girls to have their own separate points ranking and number 1 plate.
Throughout her career, Debbi was awarded a number of titles and was the first National No.1 Girl class title holder for the ABA in 1982.

In Hee Lee
In Hee Lee rode with CW Racing during the mid-80s. He was driven and his focus on-track made him a fierce competitor. His CW Racing team-mate, Jason Donnell described In Hee Lee as his “toughest competition” while he rode. In 1991 and 1992 he was the ABA’s National Number 1 in the Pro Cruiser class.

Pete Loncarevich “Pistol Pete”
Pete Loncarevich ‘s prime competitive years were at CW Racing, from 1983-1986. In 1984, the “Pistol Pete” Pro Frame was released by CW Racing, and in 1986 he won the BMX Plus! Racer of the Year Award.

Todd Lyons
Todd Lyons was with CW Racing until 1988 and was one of only three BMX athletes featured on MTV Sports. He was one of the first racers to do back-flips at a BMX track and pulled the first 720 jump in a European BMX contest.

Robert MacPherson

Clarence “Earthquake” Perry
After joining CW Racing in 1980, Clarence Perry quickly became one of the leaders in BMX Cruiser class racing. Best known for his CW Racing days, he was one of the fastest racers at the time. He turned professional in 1981 and was ranked as a top ten professional in 1984. Clarence Perry was known as a sturdy rider and was with CW Racing until his retirement from racing.

“Chicken” George Seevers
George Seevers started racing at a young age and joined CW Racing in 1985. During his time with CW Racing he was best known for his speed and agility on track, winning a number of titles over the course of his career. In 1986 George was awarded the ABA N.A.G.
